About David S. Johnsen and May A. Johnsen

The husband and wife duo artists spanned the years of the 1940's - the early 2000's. David passed in 1994 and May passed in 2009. They exhibited nationally and internationally. Works included oils, watercolors,

silverpoint, graphite, and sculpture. May also specialized in Silverpoint drawings and miniature art. They

resided on the East Coast and most of theri subject matter is from there. They are survived by a son, David M. Johnsen, and a grandchild, Courtney M. Johnsen as artists in Astoria, Oregon. 

 

David M. Johnsen and Courtney M. Johnsen reside and create art out of their home studio in Astoira, Oregon. They produce works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastels.
